Our surgeries are medical centre-based with a strong focus in Paediatric Dentistry and Special Needs Dentistry.
Our principal dentist, Dr Garret Robles, has postgraduate training and clinical teaching experience in paediatric dentistry, and his special interest includes management of children with special needs, autism, kids with developmental delay, medical conditions, and treating very young children too fearful of seeing the dentist yet requiring extensive dental care.
MYTOOTHDOCTOR™ also provide special needs dentistry services for adults with severe dental anxiety, those requiring wheelchair based dental treatment or bariatric, and elderly patients requiring home visits at aged care facilities for oral health examinations, dental management planning and bedside treatment.
Relative analgesia or happy gas is readily available at our Bushland Beach location; and for patients requiring a general anaesthetic, we hold regular theatre lists at the Mater Private Hospital.
MYTOOTHDOCTOR™ is likewise at the forefront of Indigenous Oral Health in North Queensland, as its sister company Project Outback Dental (POD) Pty Ltd is currently the outsourced private dental service provider of the Townsville Aboriginal and Islander Health Service (TAIHS).
