I am a Townsville Podiatrist specialising in home visits. I am AHPRA registered and have 15 years experience in various settings including high risk foot clinics, aged care facilities, working in regional and remote areas as part of a multidisciplinary allied health team.
My skills set involves the ability to perform general foot care, wound care, nail surgery, diagnosis and treatment of various ailments/disorders of the feet, use of doppler ultrasound equipment to screen for peripheral vascular disease, prescription/manufacture/dispensing of orthotic devices, education and appropriate footwear advice.
I am medicare and DVA registered and have provided services to NDIS clients.
Should you require Podiatry home visits, please consult your GP to arrange for a CDMP referral to be sent. Referrals can be sent via email, fax or post. The cost of these treatments will be bulk billed with no out of pocket expenses incurred.
If you are ineligible to receive Podiatry services via the Medical benefits scheme, a private home visit costs $80. I also accept and can process payments from most private health funds.
